Hilton has wonderful standards and this hotel definitely meets them all

I've made this my little home away from home. Both Tru and Home2Suites are amazing. It doesn't get any better then the welcoming you receive when Ramona is at the desk to welcome you. The rooms are always so clean! They even press the toilet paper!

We wanted to update our review unfortunately could not do that so we are doing a new one. We had the pleasure of staying here Nov 21. Ramona helped us with all of our questions and went above to help us even get our room ready for Nov 29th which we had to cancel due to weather. When we canceled we knew we would be charged but we had put the statement that we felt it was not right that statement was meant for corporate. In no way was it directed to this location or the staff because this location and staff have always been amazing. On our long drive back to Indiana yesterday we received a call from Mr Keenan called and was so kind and stated we would not be charged due to the weather and even told us to be safe traveling back home. This is the reason we only stay at Home 2 Suites when we travel and so wish Sioux City would get one.

I'm not sure why this hotel has gotten so many negative reviews. I stayed there two days ago and the hotel was lovely. The lobby was beautiful with multiple different areas to hang out. The check-in employee was very kind and made pleasant conversation. There was a peloton in the workout room. The rooms themselves were very clean with plenty of space a full table etc. The coffee was good and the breakfast was also well stocked, fresh, and good. My co-worker and I took a chance and we would stay again no question.

Our room was comfortable and clean. There were no garbage liners in our trash cans. We asked a housekeeper in our hall for a couple. She didn't speak English and gave my husband a towel! Asked a 2nd housekeeper and she didn't speak English either. Totally put off by this experience.

One of the Best Hotels You’ll Find in Ankeny, Iowa! Our group from the City of Atlanta’s Department of Recreation (61 of us!) stayed at the Home2 Suites in Ankeny for the National Senior Games (55 and over), and I can honestly say — this hotel is top tier in every way. First, I have to give a huge shout-out to the incredible staff. Mr. Brian Spraggins, Ms. Carlie Manrose, and Mr. David (I didn’t catch his last name) — my big three! They were nothing short of amazing, as flexible and helpful as Stretch Armstrong. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our group had everything we needed and more. Their customer service was almost too good to be true — welcoming, thoughtful, and consistently attentive. The location couldn’t be better. Right behind the hotel is The District, packed with restaurants, entertainment, and spots to unwind. There was even a free concert in the park next to the hotel — including a silent concert, which was a first for me and a total blast! Let’s talk amenities — from the out-of-this-world breakfast (the breakfast potatoes were my absolute favorite!) to the pool table, cozy lounge, and relaxing bar, everything about this place felt high-end yet welcoming. The cleaning staff? Like ninjas — everything spotless, yet you barely saw them. Always working with a smile. Even when the elevator went down once (it was a busy weekend with two wedding parties and senior athletes from all over the country), the staff handled everything smoothly. In my opinion, this is a true 5-star experience. Whether you’re traveling through, planning a group stay, or just want a weekend getaway or staycation — Home2 Suites Ankeny is where you want to be. Highly, highly recommended!

Perfect location for activities and food options! Also, the hotel is wonderful and has space for large groups.
